I would absolutely recommend this class to others. I had heard from another florist that your explanation of color finally made it click for her...and needless to say you made it click for me with plenty of tools & outside resources to deepen my understanding! I loved the resources you provided at the end of each class.

I walked away from this course feeling more confident and brave about taking some risks with color. Learning about context and color was really helpful.

Your presentations were very thoughtful and I loved the exercises you had us do for each class. I feel much more confident in my understanding of color and my relationship to it after taking this class. I can make sense of a color wheel now! It was also a great reminder of how we experience color. I feel like I really grasp these concepts now, especially after you went in-depth on how the eye works. This class really allowed me to focus on the information and digest it in a way that I could really internalize.

I would definitely recommend this class! Color Confidence gave me the tools to approach colors in a more systematic way so I don't second guess myself when communicating color choices to clients.

Janelle is a great teacher- she explains things in a great way and she has a great approach to the way she teaches. I think it gives you vital information that could guide your floral practice and thus give you an edge over other designers. Also, it is a great way to invest in your craft and to keep evolving as an artist.

I would recommend this class! I'm tried of floral design classes that simply ask the student to mimic the teacher. Teachers need to be able to explain the why behind what they do so students can understand the principles/techniques and develop their own artistic voice in this community. There are far too few classes that allow for authentic learning and this class does just that!
